Would you use the service? Both day care and grooming or just one or the other? Please let us know.

Rent our unit

Did you know you could rent our unit? We take party, group or individual bookings. You can rent the unit for the day or even by the hour.

Doggie’s Digest – 10th January 2016

Screen Shot 2016-01-09 at 10.53.10

Welcome back for the next instalment (and first for 2016!) of Doggie’s Digest and Happy New Year.

We hope you all had a great christmas and new year however you celebrated. We are looking forward to what 2016 has to bring and hopefully it will be just as great (or even better) than last year.

Happy 1st Birthday to us!

Screen Shot 2016-01-09 at 10.53.10

A year ago (yesterday) we opened for business for the first time. It has flown by and we’ve met some of the most amazing people and their furry friends. We can’t thank everyone enough for their support over the past year and making it a great success. We are so happy people love to bring their dogs to us and are confident in leaving them to have fun and make friends.

Thank you and Happy Birthday to us, heres to another great year :)

Opening hours

We are back to our regular opening hours, 7-7 Monday to Friday. As most of you will already know, we are very flexible during this time. We can look after your pooch all day or just for a few hours while you go shopping. Let us know what you need and we will do our best to accommodate.

Grooming and bath appointments

Given the weather we’ve been having lately, we expect there is a few smelly dogs out there. Don’t worry – we can fit baths in at pretty much anytime so give us a call or send us a message.

If you would like your dog to be pampered we offer full grooms at very competitive prices. We often update our Facebook page with offers and before and after pictures. Please keep your eyes peeled and if you like what you see get your appointment today!

Why walk in the dark?

If you work all day, you’re more than likely going to be walking your dog in the dark on a morning or night. Why not let us look after them and give them the exercise they need?

During a day care session, we provide exercise and also time for your dog to relax. This way, they come home nice and calm and usually they have made some doggy friends along the way.

Puppy training classes

New Year, New puppy? Let us help.

We are starting a new puppy training class and we can help train your dog to be the perfect well behaved companion. Contact us to avoid disappointment and book your place on today.

As yet, we don’t have an exact start date (it will be soon) but contact us and we will add you to our list.

New equipment – outside play equipment

We are on the hunt for new outdoor play equipment to keep the more adventurous of dogs entertained. We already have things in the day care centre at the moment; however, we want more!

If you are wanting to sell any unwanted play equipment please get in touch. We will let you know if its something we can work with. Not everything will be suitable, swings for example aren’t really the best idea!, but we are hoping to find things that are :)

Doggie’s Digest – 18th October 2015

Fergus the husky

Welcome back for the third instalment of Doggie’s Digest. It seems a lot of people are reading this blog which is brilliant as we love sharing what we’ve been up to.

Thanks to Fergus for being our beautiful blog photo for this week.

Welcome to the newbies

This week we’ve added some new pooches to our pack! Welcome to Bruce, Maggie and Keane. We hope you’ve had a fab time with us and continue to in the future.

Adult dog training classes

Following the success of our puppy training classes, we will soon be running an adult training class. We’ve had enquiries about this and can now confirm this is something we will be running. As yet, we don’t have a date but we would like you to get in touch if you’re interested. We can then contact you when we’ve got a date and can confirm the details.

Puppy classes

The puppy Class has 9 puppies and classes are going great.

Recently, the puppies learnt how pay attention to their owners, how to sit when asked and started to learn to come back when called as well as being socialised with people with strange hats and clothes – even someone in a Gordon Brown mask!

This was Vivienne the French Bulldog after the class. Her owner Nicola said she was so tired after concentrating in class she started snoring as soon as she got home – ah bless.

vivienne the frenchie

Owners were encouraged to train their dogs in 3 different places and here is Teddy the 5 month old Rottweiler doing a lovely ‘sit’ in a very picturesque setting

Screen Shot 2015-10-17 at 20.35.07

Schnitzel the miniature Dachshund is a bit worried by things on wheels such as scooters and bikes. His owner Stephanie practised Schnitzel’s ‘sit’ as the same time as socialising him with a wheelchair.

We are currently taking bookings for our next 6 week Puppy Class which will start on Thursday 19th November at 7.30pm. Please contact us if you’d like to register.

Our salon has been very busy this week and we’re getting busier in the run up to christmas. Our groomer Kim is off this week (w/c 19th October) for a week but we are taking bookings for next week (w/c 26th October).

During Kim’s week off our grooming apprentice Pippa will be doing half price baths for all the smelly pooches out there. If you’d like to take advantage of this, please contact us and we will book you an appointment.
